This sign was not painted over. It was an 'update' of the previous amateur paint job that had faded over the years and years it had been up. This certainly isn't something to worry about. The new addition looks better than what was there, but still retains a folksy touch. I'm not sure what the sign was originally as it's been years. If anything, the best option here is to do nothing, but if voices feel so the city could place a new 'Slow Children' and fix or remove the dislodged speed bump sign.

Also, the location reported is incorrect, it is at the Richmond Y, not mid-block as shown.
