Description

Please add a temporary asphalt ramp leading from NW-bound 7th Street toward the Lake Merritt Channel path along Laney College. With the Embarcadero bridge closure and detour leading bicyclists to 7th Street, an easy connection to the Channel Path will give bike riders more connections beyond the official detour toward Fallon Street. The south side of 7th Street already has a curb ramp at the Channel Path, but the north side does not. There is already a red curb where the temporary asphalt ramp could go, so no parking spots would be lost.
