This is a handicap accessible sidewalk installed as part of the City's multimillion dollar reinvestment in the Plaza District.

On 6/26/2015, The assigned officer asked the vehicle owner to move the vehicle from this location and the vehicle owner did.

Seeing as the assigned officer did his or her asking on 6/26 and we have pictures from 6/27 and 6/28 I'd say we're not quite ready to close this issue.

Can someone leave a note on their windshield letting them know the fine for illegal parking?

I have just called the OKC Police and a unit is being sent out to recheck the area.

That kind of note is typically referred to as a citation...

Are you reporting this to the police non-emergency line also? Hopefully a few tickets will convince him to park elsewhere.

On the average day it is there 10am - 5pm. it's been going on for months if not years at this point. For the third time I've called 231-2121, this time they were much less dismissive. (One time they asked if there was a no parking sign for the sidewalk....)

I do believe that is some kind of official note informing 941BXX that it's not ok to park like this. Thanks Shameka & OKC for helping resolve this long term issue in the Plaza District!

The assigned supervisor responded to the address on numerous occasions and did not observe the reported violation. Due to this, the reporting party should call 911 or 231-2121 when they see the violation to ensure that it will be addressed.
