The cyclists don't seem to be as bad as they were, but that doesn't mean there is no longer a problem. There are still some who ride recklessly on the trail, endangering other trail users regularly. This is particularly a problem where the cyclists are "forced" off the road and onto the trail- near and at the trail bridge on the north end of the lake, at most of the barriers (the bottlenecks- extremely dangerous), where the trail begins to parallel Garland Road all the way to the intersection with the Santa Fe Trail. Cyclists- police yourselves! Use peer pressure to deter unsafe, overly aggressive riding on our shared trail.
