Please be kind enough to tell me who decided to erect a street light monument at City Hall with the name of the current living Mayor? Why, if night/street light was so needed wasn't it dedicated to fallen hero's or past city servants who had a history and longevity and proven dedication to the people of this City? When was it decided and by whom and did it go to City Council for vote or the voters of this city? If not, why not? How much did it cost and where did we (the City) get the money to pay for it?

What a waste of money. Mayor's head to big for city hall doors.City council should have put a stop on that.It should have all the names of past mayors with dates served or just said city of Revere.What a shame

My understand is Mike that it never went to City Council or the Voters that's why I'm asking the Tigers Eye because I'm flabbergasted like you are and as a taxpayer and voter I would like an explanation of city money spent from an administration that promised to be "transparent".

Chapter 90? Chapter 90 is for roadway funds, I'm asking what funds were used to erect a monument in name of current mayor and who and when and how and why was it decided without going before City Council and/or voters?
