The sidewalk is just as bad, see attached photo. The street is smooth now, thank you, as can be seen in the photo, but I did not think that someone fixing the road patch would just stop at the curb, and leave untouched the same pile of asphalt as it continued across half the sidewalk. But that's what happened. I'm sorry I did not itemize all the problems. To that end, the new "Share the road" bicycle sign that was added right at the asphalt pile is not straight. There's no "bump ahead" sign, but that's not a problem.

It is not uncommon for a utility contractor to address the roadway and leave behind issues like this. The City will address it.
