Dear NCPC 21y:
Did you go into the store to speak to the owners Yolanda or Birgitt about the shrubbery?
Before reporting them, please step inside and let the owners know; if you are too shy to have a word face-to-face, you can also drop a note in the mailbox, or left w/cashier.
They are both lovely folks who would accept your suggestions graciously.
I'm usually on at this intersection in the mornings around 7:00 am when my wife Patty and I pick up litter in this business district (volunteers) Mon-Sat. I report a variety of issues in this area from illegal dumping, to broken drains to torched cars, and the overgrown shrubbery is just one issue in this area I've reported.
Ah-ha! Therein lies the rub: Pollinate hours: Wed-Sat 10a-6p + Sun 12N-5p But here's the website, and either Yolanda or Birgitt will respond, no worries!
http://pollinatefarm.com/contact-us/ Kudos to your Litter Walks! My beat's primary commercial district also has a litter group of volunteers; they became burned out (we have an AC transit hub+fast food, always a litter disaster!) so we hold a fund raiser annually to pay for 4 days of a hired company, supplemented by the regular Litter Walkers (now rested up!) twice a week. It truly does 'take a Village'... >;-)
We have been in your store in its current permutation (which is well organized and a pretty store), it's previous version operated by Shirley, and its original version - a floor covering store. Whoever has operated the site has made it the nexus of merchant activism to improve the business district it is a part of and you carry on that tradition. When our lives get a little less hectic we will stop by again.

Nothing has changed - communication is wonderful but no work has been done to correct the issue. Once it is taken care of then the issue should be closed.

Not sure when you posted the original complaint, but we were just made aware of it a few days ago (Sunday). We have since been closed. (Pollinate is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
As you may not be aware, we are not the owners of the property; we need to get permission to do any maintenance. We have received permission from the property owner to trim the shrubbery.
I realize that matters that involve gaining permission from the landlord can take time. I just don't want the ticket (issue) closed until it is brought to its appropriate conclusion which is that the shrubbery is trimmed.
