Description
The intersection of Sherburne and Pascal is a mess, especially with increased traffic from University (including busses and law enforcement). All day and night I hear horns and squealing tires because of poor visibility (especially if people are parked too close to corners), people coming too fast from the University side, and too narrow streets (Pascal shouldn't have parking on both sides). Please consider changing the parking situation or adding a four-way stop.

Sorry for the slow reply. I think it's definitely a traffic issue. With so many cars parked on Pascal, it's narrow and incredibly hard to see when turning or crossing from Sherburne. Cars on Sherburne usually have to creep into the intersection to see oncoming traffic. My best suggestion is either cutting back parking on Pascal or at least adding some "no parking here to corner" signs to keep the intersection more clear. (Yes, there's a law about not parking 30 feet from a crosswalk or the like, but I doubt most people remember.)
The honking and tire squealing is annoying, but I'm mostly concerned that someone is going to get killed when they try to cross or turn onto Pascal and they get creamed by a car coming too fast down Pascal.

There are two duplicate issues for the poor safety of this intersection. Each issue had multiple votes and comments.
Please consolidate for clarity and escalate.

This situation has not been resolved. There are frequent accidents and near misses, for the reasons identified earlier in the thread.
Please, please improve the visability at this intersection. I live in one of the houses at this intersection and I beg of you to reduce the parking on Pascal. In all four areas of Pascal, approaching Sherburne.
