The traffic lights don't seem to have pressure sensors. They turn red when there are no cars waiting and they are extremely sloowwwwwww.

All signals in the Cameron Village Grid operate on a fixed time. No sensors, which means the timings are based on volumes of traffic for a specific time of day with each movement receiving a specific amount of time.Staff has gathered traffic counts to ensure the times are adequate. Cameron Village operates the same as the downtown grid. The longest wait a driver should incur at any time of day before that approach receiving a green light is 40 seconds. Staff shall continue to monitor and make necessary changes.
