When this light was first installed, it worked beautifully. If you were approaching the intersection at night, and you had the red light, it would quickly turn to green in your travel direction if there were no other cars traveling in the intersecting direction. Somehow the timing and the traffic sensors got out of whack and this intersection has never been the same since! I agree with the orignal post! Very annoying!
