I agree. I will not attempt to ride this route. Further, even driving a car across this space is dangerous. Proceed slowly because tire, wheel, and/or undercarriage damage may result.

Heard that the Hagadorn Rd crossing is getting repaired this week. anyone know if this one is also getting fixed?

Anyone know if this crossing has been repaired? The Hagadorn Rd. RR crossing was repaired a couple weeks ago; would be nice if the RR company also took care of the much worse condition Bogue St. crossing at the same time.

I rode my bike over it yesterday, and it's as bad as ever (tip: it is much smoother to bike over rails there on the sidewalk). The previously bad RR crossing at Haggadorn was recently fixed by the RR people, who I doubt read this site, so I assume word/pressure needs to get to them some other way-perhaps via some logical MSU office)?

Thx for the update Adan. That's hard to believe that their repair crew would have been so close and yet not taken care of it. I have spoken to the right folks responsible for road maintenance at MSU long ago and they told me that the RR co. determines when the repairs will happen and then does them and then will bill MSU for said repairs. No sooner. Period.

This crossing was still really bad a couple weeks ago. Looks like the patches have been falling out/ away. Adan was right; best to cross where the sidewalk crosses when cycling over it.

This crossing got some temp patches during the summer but those have mostly fallen out so it's back to it's terrible condition. If you're bicycling over this crossing it's best to cross at the sidewalk.

recd word via campus staff that the RR co. is repairing this crossing finally. it'll be closed for a couple weeks during repairs. yeah!!
