My mother recently was admitted to this nursing home for rehab! At first glance it appears ok. But, this place is seriously rundown. It desperately needs upgrade. It needs new paint, wallpaper, new bathrooms, the outside has chipped paint and wood trim is rotten. Windows are old and rundown. Ceiling panels are unkempt! The "garden" is not pretty at all but looks like a prison yard. The crabgrass and weeds are there more than any grass. The benches are broken down. Even the vending machine dispensed a candy I bought that was 3 months old from original expiration date. Please address all these issues. I am sure there is more to reveal that is in need of repair!!!
However, let me please state that this in NO way reflects the nursing staff! I appreciate all there efforts. Especially since they have to work in this type of environment. How does the administration or owner of this place feel toward this nursing home? Just imagine how the residents feel. Where is the love and respect the patients deserve! They should be living in beautiful surroundings.
Reporting with sadness, Laurie
