This same group of criminals has been illegally occupying space in our city park for months now.
They have no interest in any type of social services. They are involved in narcotics trafficking and human trafficking. They burglarize homes, cars and businesses in the area and trade the stolen goods for drugs. They vandalize public and private property and leave trash and human debris in their wake. Police action is desperately needed.

Panhandling in the area contributes to the encampments. The shift work panhandling of these camp occupants sustains their way of life in the area. Quit contributing to their cause.

This area is part of the storm drainage system. All of this trash and human debris is ending up in the river and destroying the ecosystem.

The code enforcement division of the city planning department will not address illegal encampments on public property. This location is part of the multi use bike and pedestrian trail system and is public property.
Send police officers to enforce the laws against these actions and send parks and recreation department staff to cleanup and repair the damage.
