Description

This morning at about 7am, I was on my bicycle stopped at the light at 4th and Massachusetts nw heading east. When the light changed and the cars and I went, a driver behind me - apparently upset that he had to go around me - started honking. He laid on his horn for several seconds, then passed me very closely, and then pulled in front of me and slammed on his brakes. He then pulled over to make a left turn at mass and new jersey and yelled "@#$%" at me out the open window of his car. This is a violation of DC Code 50-2201.04 and 18 DCMR 2202.10. Additionally, as a middle aged woman who attempts to obey all the laws (i.e. stopping at the red light), this is very scary and unnerving. He was driving a silverish SUV with Virginia plates # 3913CF.
