Nearly all residents of S G ST between S 15TH and 16TH ST are in violation of the City of Tacoma curbside garbage setout guidelines, especially in the Court G alley. Most of the container are placed within four feet of an obstruction, particularly the telephone poles and fences.

The trash cans are regularly overfilled which creates abundant litter and birds are eating from the trash. Most importantly, the containers are never removed from the curb or alley, even after pickup. They are abandoned in the public right-of-way with some even being chained to street trees, telephone poles, and adjacent private property.
