Description
There is a flood light, location is attached to a fence, on a pole.
Problem is that when you have to drive through here at night, which is every day, the flood light is so bright, is makes it difficult to see.
City regulations state:
It shall not have an off-site luminance greater than 1,000 footlamberts; it shall not have an off-site luminance greater than 200 footlamberts measured from any private property in a residential zone.
Found this flood light online & it shows the lumes to be:
produce up to 3200 lumens at low power of 30W
All am asking is that the residents please, reposition the panel for the lights. If they want to protect their property, the lights should face their yard, not impede on others.
§ 14-16-3-9 AREA LIGHTING REGULATIONS
The location of the lighting fixture together with its cut-off angle shall be such that it does not directly shine on any public right-of-way or any other residential premises.
Thank you
