Description

Columbus Parkway has been under construction for about 2 years now between Regents Parkway and Benicia Road. I have called both Tri Point Developer and the City of Vallejo. Both pointing the finger at the other. This mess is unacceptable. Not only is it a shame to have a main road left in such destruction but it is also an environmental hazard. The plastic from sand bags and other items are degrading because it has been left in the elements for so long. The area is covered in plastic, sand bags, pylons, graffiti, wattles, signs, etc. The stuff that was planted on the hills during grading has died off and is now a fire hazard. The road is covered in pot holes. Trees are over grown. People continue to walk/ride bikes on this road that is already difficult to drive on. When is the city going to do something about this?
