Description

Traffic signals are discriminating against pedestrians when the train comes though. Pedestrians are not given a turn to cross Lincoln and Heatherton (confirmed) when a train slowly comes through town, note that this 1-2 blocks away from the tracks (how long does it take you to walk 2 blocks?). A supposed green project of "mass" transit completely eliminates all rights of pedestrians to legally cross a street while car friendly light cycles continue in a modified configuration. Yes it sucks to be waiting in a van full of tired kids as a train is given priority to pass with 5 passengers but we are warm and dry, it sucks even more to be the guy standing on the street in the rain a block away without any options to keep walking home. I encourage whomever is in charge of the signal programing to walk the corridor while the train is active because the current system is broken! Walking shouldn't be discriminated against.
