Thanks for your update Tom but your information is only half accurate. The bin was not removed but instead was MOVED into an adjacent parking space that ironically I rent. Meaning that someone simply moved the bin out of the red zone and placed it in the nearest space. Again, as near as I can determine, the bin is not being used by any of the surrounding businesses. I continue to reach out to Republic but there has been no action. Please help. Thanks again.

I contacted the driver who was working downtown this morning and he is the one who moved it. He may not have placed it where it should be. I felt it was not on his route. I have an email for a person with Republic and will let them know. Thanks

Thanks for the follow-up Tom. The bottom line is that the bin does not appear to belong to any business. Unless it is picked up I fear it will just continue to float around the neighborhood. (Right now it is in the alley in back of Crogans.) If it belongs to a business, then that business and Republic need to find a premanent place for it that is not on City or someone else's private property. Thanks again.

I already emailed Republic asking them to put it where it belongs or pick it up. I also gave them your name and number if they have any questions. I told them you couldn't get through and I couldn't yesterday.

Just talked to representative from Republic. She is going to have a supervisor go out.
