How about making Edgewood Avenue and Chapel Street one way streets from end to end? Both already have one way sections. Obviously this is a failed engineering project. Years ago I was in local government in another town and we had diminished confidence in the public works director who wanted highway standards applied to a local road. We moved him aside and the town council developed at least 7 alternatives. Were we engineers? No but we knew what was appropriate and what would remedy the situation. At present we are trying compensate for a flawed design. If this were a car it would recalled. So tired of the poor decisions one after another after another
