Description
High winds continue to bring down these big missile type branches. Calls on these trees have been made before with big dead limbs falling all the time. Eventually dead these limbs are going to strike a person. One has already cracked one our windshields.
Can residents ask for these nuisance trees to be completely removed in front of their homes for personal and property safety? We'd rather not wait until someone is hurt or worse.
Thank you.

Cheryl - your comment is misleading. These limbs have been falling for years, regardless of rainfall amounts, one piercing my daughter's windshield a few years ago. One was completely removed from across the street this past year because it was deemed half-dead and a danger. There are hardly any leaves on them at this point and the limbs are dead / falling. And some of them are heavy. We've seen some big ones sticking out of the ground like impaled spikes after falling.
These trees belong to the county, and present an ongoing risk to residents' properties and families. Ongoing maintenance of dying, old trees is a waste to county funds, never ending maintenance and still poses an ongoing risk. No resident should have to worry about brittle falling heavy limbs when walking their dog, or worried their vehicle will be impacted.
These trees should be evaluated by the county and as a resident, I would like to see the ones (at least in front of my home) completely removed to eliminate the risk to my property and family. If they're not removed and someone does indeed get hurt or worse, that will be a county liability, especially after ongoing /documented complaints.
