Put speed bumps on Sherman ave we have kids and no sidewalks also we can't even get our mail these cars are scaring all of us were afraid for our children. Help,

Now the speed limit is 20 mph top to bottom on Sherman, and it's a joke. 40 and 45 are the norm and while we have some police presence, there isn't enough. Tractor trailers that are banned from the avenue, are common, dirt bikes as well. This is going to carry on for months and there's going to to be problems if they don't nip this early with regular travelers of this route.

CAN WE GET SOME SPEED BUMPS OVER HERE ON OAKWOOD AVE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED?!

The speed bumps have to go! The residents of our neighborhood shouldn't have to beat our vehicles up because people are complaining about speeding. Doesn't it make more sense to pull people over & give them tickets for speeding. Also, keep your kids out of the road and then you can be less concerned with how people drive. So now we have speed bumps & everyone still speeds in between them! This detour is inconvenient enough as it is!

If everyone speeds between the speed bumps... we obviously need more speed bumps placed closer together! Great idea Jamie. Thanks for that insight.

With stop signs, speed limit signs, speed bumps (and more of them to come) and added police patrols we still don't see traffic as slow and as careful as they should be for an area with so many kids playing, riding bikes, especially in the summer. Tractor trailer trucks abound, despite signs forbidding them because they are tearing up our streets. The city police are probably doing as much as they can, they can only be spread so thin. With one full time traffic control officer they could raise 100's of thousands of dollars in fines if everything was enforced. I'm afraid we can't ask for anymore right now.
