Every day I use Pettus Rd to get onto Nolensville Rd. I work in Cool Springs. Some mornings it takes half of my commute time just trying to get off Pettus onto Nolensville. We sure could use a traffic light there!

Traffic Engineer response to previous request as of 2/7/2012: In response to your request for a traffic signal at Pettus Rd at Nolensville Pk. We have completed our study which includes traffic volumes, sight distance measurements, and accident history. Pettus Rd is a low volume rural road and does not meet the recommended criteria of 150 vehicles per hour for an eight hour period. Sight distance measurements show this location has excellent sight distance exiting Pettus Rd onto Nolensville Pk. Accident history shows this location has an excellent safety record (no reported accidents in the past two years). Based on these findings, we do not recommend a traffic signal at this location.
