Description
This entire street needs to be replaced/repaired.
It's heavily pitted in numerous spots with potholes and cracks.
In talking with all of the neighbors, they've said that they can't recall when it was last worked on. Even speaking with the Malden DPW last year, they were well aware of this street's poor condition. This winter has brought it over the edge. It brings down property value.

Thank you for your request and we understand your concerns. This system is for general repairs and repaving a whole street is a little more involved than the DPW can handle. I can tell you though Maurice Street is certainly on our radar to get paved the Mayor and Councilor are working on repairing streets in your area.

Hi Bob. I realize you've been helpful in the past and that this is beyond your direct control. I think we all appreciate your responsiveness and concern.
I also agree that Blomerth needs to be addressed as well as it's in equally bad shape. However, Maurice is a much smaller stretch by comparison (plus I'm somewhat biased as I live here) so I'd hope that they could tackle this at first.
Who would we need to contact to escalate this issue?
Any suggestions to get it bumped up on the priority queue?
Do we have to get signatures or is it simply that this town is painfully slow or neglectful to move on issues such as this?

Just spoke with the Mayor's Office and they told me they would speak with you...(although I've pointed out that we've already spoken twice and that you told me to contact them.)
We're just going around and around in circles which I suppose is to be expected of politics.
I've received some canned answer that "the town has plans" which essentially tells us absolutely nothing. "When" would be my question - 15 more years from now? They didn't provide anything more concrete.
