There is no 106 Madison. It's 108 Madison. And it IS very dilapidated.

Just like the house on at 817 5th ave, SAD!! Nothing is being done to clean up the town and these properties are being allowed to remain dilapidated. Where is the CODE ENFORCER!! Does he not ride around town and see these properties, does he ever read these posts?????

If you care so deeply about the plight of Prospect Park,I'm sure that you have gone to the Borough hall and Town hall meetings, or council meetings or called and left messages for the code enforcement officer and the mayor to let him know that no one is getting back to you. I don't know where you think the township is supposed to get the money that you say it should spend to upgrade the town. You people are ridiculous.

"Protected", before stating people are ridiculous, please obtain the facts. Myself and my neighbors have all filed formal complaints with the township (Prospect Park), this has been an ongoing issue for the last 5 years. Apparently the owner of the house is "friends" with someone in the township so nothing is ever done. You come try living next to a house with raccoons, cats, rats and other animals who constantly call the place home, then we will see who is ridiculous. Noone is asking the township for their funds, all we want is for someone in the township to fine the owner and make him clean the house up.

Yea protected, it must be your house!! and yes, the township does not care about your plight. They have a code enforcer, but he doesn't to any good either, just like the property at 817 5th ave. Horrible condition!! What's with this Township? Thay JUST DON'T CARE. "Protected" must be on the council, cause he is a blind and ignorant as them!!!

Good News (Update), I believe the house has finally been sold. They are in the process of rehabbing. Hopefully this fixes the issue!

Not on council or anything of the sort. No friends on council either. Just grew up here and am raising my family now to enjoy the same atmosphere that I did growing up. I simply suggested doing what worked for me. Have a fantastic life.

The house is currently being "flipped" by a real estate investor. Finally it looks decent!
