Thank you for using this application to report an issue to the City of Albany. According to city code (§313-47), property owners are responsible for keeping their properties maintained with regards to lawn and litter. DGS staff will inspect the property for any violations. If violations are found, the property owner will be notified and given ten business days to rectify any violations. After ten business days, DGS will re-inspect the property for compliance. If the property is still in violation, DGS will schedule a cleanup of the property and the owner will be billed. Please note that due to the high volume, these requests may take up to two weeks or more for DGS to clean.

And when you put that letter in the mail make sure you tell the renter that Jerome from Schenectady smokes mids and that he wants to see some fines because if he doesn't see fines the circuit in his brain that tells other parts of his body to do things that "feel good " no longer work.

Dirty Dave, why are you against this site and apparently the city doing what is right to hold people accountable for bad behavior and or negligence? You truly make no sense.

No, I am against this site because it skews city services to communities of lower need. People here clearly have the resources to complain and whine but can't find the time to ask their neighbors to fix trash storage or paint their house or whatever. Jen, if you have the time to complain on this site, you have the time to do services in the neighborhood. That would actually make a difference. Punitive action should be the last resort to fixing many of these issues.

Do you realize there are entire neighborhoods that get a fraction of the attention Center Square receives? I literally got a ticket on my car yesterday because I didn't move my car for the sweeper. Well, guess what the damn thing never showed up anyway. And this is not the first time it has happened.
