This light continues to have the same issues since it was installed And there are two solutions that the city and Maine DOT can choose to implement Either make a right turn on red illegal for cars coming off the 295 off ramp or move the lights back so cars turning right can view the light signal while also making sure it's safe to turn right on red It's currently impossible to turn right on red and see traffic coming west to east on veranda street without sticking out far enough to see over the 295 underpass Once you stick out far enough to see if it's safe to turn right on red, you cannot see the light I have seen engineers at this light multiple times but this hasn't been addressed or resolved Since the city and/or Maine dot are unable to figure this out How about you just make it a no right turn on red for off ramp traffic
