As per the architect's design, accessible access is solely via the front door

CRA- Thank you. This secondary egress has two sets of doors- BOTH sets of doors have motion activated door opener "switches". The first set from the interior works as expected and opens the first set of interior doors towards the outside. The second door also has a motion activated door sensor that simply does not work. Am I reading your response that it was never intended to work? Why is it there? It makes things confusing to keep waving in front of it, if it is not going to be in use. If so, please remove.

The side door is operational as it was designed, with the interior door activated by a wave button and the exterior door is activated by the pull to operate function.
