Car with any obnoxiously loud exhaust. I always hear this car coming and going through out the day and night. Many people have complained and Willowick's finest have done nothing.

Don't feel to bad, we have that same situation here in City of Aurora, Portage County. Aurora's finest are the same way claiming they can't cite unless they have a decibel meter to prove that a violation has taken place. Any reasonable person with sufficant hearing loss that can here a car coming 2 to 3 blocks away can tell if a car with little or no exhaust needs a muffler. If it 'ain't' the exhaust "Blast" it's the "BOOM BOX" noise we have to contend with not to mention over revved Motorcycles. Peace and quiet can only come in a 6x4x8 box without any police to rely on.

I feel your pain, I live in a Cul De Sac and my neighbor across the street has an adult son who apparently has no interest in growing up or moving out. He and his friends want to act out this Fast & Furious fantasy where they are all professional street racers. They all rev their engines in the Cul De Sac day and night. The kid could probably get an apartment somewhere if he wasnt buying a new car every 2 months. Like noiseless said there is little to nothing the cops can actually do about it. It stinks but the old saying is true "you cant pick your neighbors".

I live near a corner where loud motorcylcles slow down and then loudly accelerate near my house. I have called the police and they told me there is nothing they can do about loud motorcycles. All summer long I must keep my windows closed at night if I want to sleep.

I know of a friend who used a chain saw one morning before 8 AM. This was in the country within Lake county. Someone about a half a mile away called the Lake County Sheriff and my friend was warned that Lake County has an noise law during certain times of the day. No DB meter was used it was just considered a nuisanace. Something to look into.

It use to be nice on a warm day or night to have windows open with a quiet breeze and have some inmature idiot reving his car or bike or playing a loud boom box. They are not making any neighborhood friends, like they say "what goes around comes around".
