The duck doo is still there. Children and domestic animals can ingest this and it can cause harm. Dip some water out of the creek, scrub it with a broom and wash it away. This would be a Simple, safe fix. It would not cost the city any money to do this.

It would not cost the city anything to do this? I didn't realize the city workers worked for free. Why don't all the complainers actually do something. That would be free to the city!

Let me rephrase this. We are paying them anyway, if they are on break, shopping, buying lottery tickets, or just riding around, they are still getting paid by you and me. It would not cost the city any extra money to have them clean up the mess in the fasion I recomended. I am not complaining, I am simply using this site as it's founders intended. To report things in the city that need attention. I have worked and paid taxes in this city for close to 40 years, I have paid my fair share in taxes and civic duty. It is time to pass the torch down, and enjoy what time I have left on this earth. So, please... Pick up the butts and wash off the duck doo.

I saw this today and was appauled at the sidewalk conditions. The foul stench and the visual are enough to ruin a good walk. Rhonda is correct, the City should edge and clean the sidewalks on Fort Worth St.

Welcome aboard

There needs to be a feeding station for the ducks and geese that live in this area of Fort Worth street. There are parks employees right around the corner that can keep these filled with healthy food for these water fowl.

How about taking a little pride in your neighborhood and city and organizing a weekend clean up project with your neighbors to scrub the side walks. Since it is such an easy fix as taking water from the near by creek. I would much rather see my tax dollars for the city used to keep Public Saftey: Police, Fire, and EMS staffed and trained appropriately instead of wasting money to create positions to pick up cigarette butts that lazy people throw out in the street. Everyone always states the city will handle it the city has money for it. The city is scrambling daily to keep the current city services running with an ever shrinking budget, and with the shrinking budget is becoming mandatory reduction in forces. So if you want them to lay off several of the police officers that patrol your neighborhood or lay off fire fighters causing a station to close making response times longer to create a task force of workers to pick up litter and scrub bird droppings in every inch of the city every day go ahead and keep lobbying for this matter.
