It is time to get our sidewalks replaced The City has replaced all sidewalks around our block. I have a sidewalk block in front of my house that has sunk almost 2" ever since they replaced the one next to it a few years ago when the installed new gas lines. The problem is that the City continues to fill the void with asphalt thinking that will suffice. The last 2 years the asphalt has come loose and got caught up in my snow blower and broke the shear pin. I will have to sue if this process continues and it breaks my snow blower again. I am going to keep a copy of this in case it happens again. Thank you
