No, it has not been fixed. Yesterday there was more than hour of honking. Someone doubled parked and everybody who were behind were honking constantly. The worst is from the bus. This has to sop. Those buses have to go a different route!!!!!!!!!!

The buses need to take a different route? The people that frequent the neighborhood for the shopping, etc. need to obey the traffic rules and not double park and block traffic. The bus route has recently changed and traffice is still blocked. Heavly congested areas with citizens that do not obey the laws is the problem.

People who double park, don't obey the law because they don't know there is a bus route. People double park everywhere. The bus route has recently changed from 73rd street, because of excessive noise coming form honking buses and cars. Now there is the same problem on 75th street. There should be fines issued to people who double park, and those who honk excessively. I still think that the bus should have a different route. It is not the honking problem only, how about the bus that sits for 15 minutes blowing fumes right under your window.

There are fines issued for idiling buses.

An idling bus is one whose engine is running when it is parked or not in use. Obviously, the bus is in use, therefore can not be fined!

When you posted "sits for 15 minutes", I took it as idling. Not going to get into splitting hairs - was just looking for a solution to a neighborhood problem.
