It took me running into a meter maid one game night on the corner of Winchester where he was originally only going to ticket the cars parked at the bus stop and behind the no parking signs. I complained in the cold for over 15 mins until he called his supervisor who gave him the okay to ticket the whole block of Winchester starting from sachem. It seemed to give good warning but I surely still have that supervisors number and will use it when the abuse of permit parking happens again

I believe hockey season is over, but don't hesitate to call if you're noticing an uptick in violators. We'll send someone tonight to check out zone 7.

Mr. Willis, we would appreciate that, because the illegal parking makes Mansfield street almost impassible during hockey games. Additionally, people park right up to the corners, so it is hard to make the turn from Sachem on to Winchester, and from Compton on to Mansfield.
But what about the cars of residents on Mansfield, Compton, Woodland, and Tilton, who park year after year with hanging visitor tags so they don't have to pay taxes? Lots of grad students with out-of-state cars that they never register in the state (seriously, up too 3 or 4 YEARS)!
No one from your department has ever been able to answer what system you have in place to address this problem.

RFM, the reason you have not gotten a satisfactory answer is because it is a complex issue that probably requires action on the Aldermanic level.
