Not only are the streets bad but the green on Edgewood Ave is being used to race these dirt bikes on. I have complained in the past about these dirt bikes that ride up and down Edgewood Ave like it is a racetrack. Where are the police when this is going on. Also the green has so much garbage on it. I lived here for over 30 years and it seems like the city does not care about the green on Edgewood.
The snow is gone. When will the garbage get picked up off the green. Please make the police mindful of these dirt bikes around Edgewood Ave. Some was riding with a child in his lap. I pray someone of authority is taking notice.
I have complained about this individual twice before. I even posted video and pictures of him with the child in his lap. He lives across the Mall at 364 Edgewood, and keeps his machine there. He frequently drives his quad over the mall, which is now soft and muddy and full of tire tracks, ruts and gouges from his activity. There's no need for a high-speed chase, the police just need to peek into his garage or stake out his driveway on any afternoon with good weather.
I have been using SeeClickFix for years, and dealing with LCI agents for as long. I have noticed that Toni Harp's administration is far less diligent about these Quality of Life issues than John DeStefano's. For example, in spite of numerous complaints from several neighbors, the police barriers from the Labor Day Marathon were left by the side of the road here until after the St. Patrick's Day parade. Shameful, and dismissive behavior on the part of a supposed 'public servant'.
We are closing older 2012-2016 Pothole issues in order to focus on current pothole issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our Streets Division but were never closed. If your pothole issue has not been addressed, please open a new See Click Fix issue. Thanks!
