i get cut off by people every day at this entersection, the people in the right lane to make the left turn on the north bound service road short turn [cut off] people in the left lane because there isnt any turn lane lines. i come close to getting in wrecks every day here, i drive an 18 wheeler and there is plenty of room for me to turn from the left lane to get on mopac north but i get cut off all the time.

Judging from this aerial photo, people in the left lane turn to the left lane, and people in the right lane turn into the right lane. The dark areas on the photo don't show a significant overlap, which I would expect if this were a regular issue.
Having said that, it looks like people in both lanes choke the turn a bit, and in an 18 wheeler you would not be doing that. A stripe like the one for the u-turn seems like a good idea.
