Description
Front of 73 Elizabeth Street - dangerous unlevel sidewalk and exposed pipe hole embed in ground.
The city removed a tree last summer in which the roots are still growing and causing the sidewalk to rise also a pipe in ground still remains. This is dangerous and can cause a possible liability issue for the homeowner if someone trips and falls in front of this property. The issue has remained unfixed for over six months after numerous calls to Public Works for requests to repair.

No action to correct sidewalk to date, and the exposed in-ground pipe has not been removed.

NO action has been taken or initiated to repair the sidewalk and exposed pipe. It is now April 2012, the sidewalk is dangerous; a picture was included to show the uneven sidewalk. The in ground pipe has jagged broken edges where a tree was removed. The tree stump roots have regrown underground and is causing plumbing problems. Please attend to this situation that has been ongoing for over (1) year.

The pipe is still in ground in the grass area where the tree was removed.
