Good grief! Where was all the water coming from anyway??

This has NOT been fixed. They periodically (when I fuss) come and pressure wash my curb and sometimes my neighbors as well. I believe it to be run-off from the mountain a street over. Neighbors down the street have used french drains to keep if off of their property, but since there is nowhere for the water to go once it hits the gutter it runs 3 houses down to the other side of my property where there is a storm drain. If a storm drain was placed at the location of the french drains, this could be averted at the source. I guess this is what they are trying to figure out. Another year. Nothing has happened.

Has Hsv Engineering finished the plan for this issue in the last year? Thank you.

Is there still a drainage issue on Plantation Dr. or can this issue be closed?

They have been working on the drainage since October. The drainage seems to be corrected, but since they are still working...we're left with (washed away) gravel along the entire length of the road (about 2 feet wide and now they are digging up the other side of the road, as well). I've spoken to the city about repaving the entire road, as it was crumbling before the work began and this work will only add much more patching to the existing continually cracking patches, but last word was it didn't meet the criteria that is in this year's budget (missed it by one point on their grading scale!). However, the woman who does the grading said I could call her back when they complete the work to have it re-graded in hopes it would now meet the criteria. The work doesn't seem to end, though....lol
