The little stretch on Mentor Ave, between Center St. and Jackson/Little Mountain has been 25 mph for decades. Why? And why can't it be raised to 35? Hardley anyone obeys the speed limit and Mentor police can't be bothered with ticketing offenders.

This area is no more residential than the stretch of Mentor Avenue running from Rt. 615 to the Great Lakes Mall which has a 35 mph speed limit.
