Description
People are constantly fishing off of the bridge/right of way on Eden Isle Blvd as you enter the Eden Isle community. This is a hazard as this is the only route in and out of Eden Isle. Moreover, these people cross over the bridge into the private property along the canal. There are many kids in this neighborhood. Thanks

Thank you for your e-mail to Mayor Rick Kriseman dated March 14, 2015. The Mayor has asked me to respond directly to you regarding the illegal fishing complaint occurring on the bridge to Eden Isle in the Snell Isle community. Officer Bill responded to the area and did not observe anyone fishing in the vicinity. Officer Bill will incorporate the monitoring of the bridge into his daily patrol and will cite and or educate offenders violating the posted signs.
In the meantime, please call the non-emergency number when the problem is occurring so that an officer may be dispatch to resolve the issue immediately. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact Community Service Acting Sergeant Crawford at 893-4819. Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention.
Sincerely,
Luke C. Williams
