The owner(s) have had plenty of time to come in compliance. The city needs to issue a citation and remove the white mini van.

Jim, I also noticed that the rear left tire is still flat. A clear violation of the inoperable motor vehicle (city) code.

It's my understanding that you can follow this on Courts Online. Please contact the magistrate clerk of court for further information.

I searched for the property owner (owner of the dwelling) at Cerro Gordo County Online, which is OLSON, RUSSELL G, and then went to Iowa Courts Online to search for this Civil Infraction. I found out the Case ID is 02171MCCISM035152 which is the sixth one down when you search Cerro Gordo County.

I see at Iowa Courts Online that OLSON, RUSSELL G pled guilty and paid $185.00. It also says ORDER FOR JUDGMENT under filings. What is the next step? Will the city remove the white mini van now?

The next step is that the owner has been court ordered to remove the van. The City will not remove the van.

The judge gave the owner 30 days to correct the violation which involves putting the tire on the vehicle.

So, the next step is OLSON, RUSSELL G has 30 days (June 1) to correct the violation which involves putting the tire on the vehicle and if that does not happen OLSON, RUSSELL G has to remove the van? So, June 2 the van will have to be legally removed by OLSON, RUSSELL G? Do I understand this correctly?

The owner of the vehicle has 30 days to correct the violation, that does not mean the owner has to remove the vehicle from the premises if the violation is not corrected.

If the violation is not corrected after 30 days, what will be the consequence?

Then we will issue a new citation.

Will it be a citation to remove the van? I ask this because I strongly feel that OLSON, RUSSELL G will not correct the violation and I want this issue to finally come to a close.

No, the citation will be for allowing the violation to continue, the judge will determine the disposition of the van. Pat, I also want you to know that the rear left tire has a leak in it. Air was put in it about a month or so ago and a few days later it was flat and is still flat. No need to reply. Thanks.

Jim, the rear left tire still looks like it is flat, especially when viewed from the alley. Please take a up close look at it to determine if it is flat or not. I will greatly appreciate this. Thanks.

I inpected the van yesterday for code compliance and at that time I made the determination that it is in compliance. The tire is low not flat, and if it was I would tell them to have it inflated by June 2, 2015.

Pat and Jim, sorry to complain about this again, but the rear left tire is up on a jack making this van inoperable. Please find out why it is on a jack. Also, would this be a new complaint or a continuation of this complaint? Thanks
