This is an issue all the way around. There are times when the southbound Service Road traffic to Airport Road backs up and blocks the intersection. This causes the same issue for northbound Service Road traffic. I've been through several light changes and the blocked intersection where northbound traffic can go nowhere. The city is limited in solutions to this problem due to the amount of traffic and the slowdown that happens on Airport Road when so much from the Southbound Service Road AND the eastbound traffic from Johnson Road backs up due to the amount of traffic and slow movement on Airport Road.
