I have almost been hit by cars trying to pass the bus in the opposing traffic lane. And I have been communicating with our council woman about this four months now.... It keeps happening and she said they're on back order. But once somebody gets hit there because someone passes the bus. Then the city will have a problem. I don't know if there's anything you can do to rush it. But they were placed too close together. And that's the reason why they don't go far enough. Back to stop people from passing the bus.

SeeClickFix was asking for an update..this issue is still unresolved. A month later, one half of this cross walk is still unprotected. Now in addition to missing the delineators, the bases for the delineators have been removed from one side.

Delineators are on back order, but we will send to the Department of Public works (DPW) to replace, as soon as the next order is in.

it has been one year...I opened a ticket on this in spring of 2023 and remarked on it in AUG 2023...back order is fine til someone gets hit...you guys have been on notice for at least 10 months that people are in danger crossing here as too many idiots PASS THE STOPPED BUS to get to communipaw ave and as there are NOT ENOUGH of them to stop the people PASSING THE BUS in the opposing traffic lane. HAS HAPPENED too many times for me and I am frustrated!!!!!!

Yes, I hear you, this is also on my list of intersections to review for pedestrian safety. So even when this issue gets closed out when the newer, more durable delineators get installed, know that this is not the end of the story.
