The area where the activity described occurred is zoned B-4, which is a commercial zoning type. Pursuant to Lincoln's Noise Control Ordinance (Lincoln Municipal Code 8.24), section 8.24.090(c), loading and unloading activities, as well as vehicle idling, in a commercial area are exempt from all noise standards between the hours of 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
As the activity described in the allegation does not constitute a noise disturbance, this complaint case will be closed.
