Description
Two bicycle safety instructors from the New Haven Coalition for Active Transportation (NCAT) noticed this large crack and bump in the pavement of the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail in the southbound lane of the trail between the Goodrich St and Bassett St crossings. It is near the exit path to Daisy Street. Tree roots seem to have lifted this up. It's a hazard for trail users on wheels who are not traveling very very slowly. The safest way to approach it right now is to go around it. Can this at least be marked with spray paint? We would not want another person to get injured.
