Description
Unbearable traffic congestion on Broadway, Cambridge & Hampshire streets during rush hour on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays. Can't the City work with the biotech companies to provide more shuttle service & incentives to use public transportation to alleviate some of this congestion. Talk about polluting the air. Cars, buses & trucks, you name it, idling all the way from Kendall Square right through to Alwife Brook Parkway and out to Route 2. As a resident I don’t even think about trying to run any sort of errands Tuesday – Thursday. Basically, being relegated to a shut in on those days. And no, I can’t ride a bike!

It sounds like your commuting from Rte 2 through Cambridge to...Kendall Square? Boston?
Maybe try Memorial or Storrow Drive via Alewife?
It didn't help that Hampshire was being paved and the detours for Inman Sq and westward were non-existent - this caused many cars to try numerous detours off of Broadway that only looped them back to Hampshire/Cardinal Medeiros...very frustrating!

You're right.
I seem to recall we have a $trillion-plus infrastructure money fund waiting in the wings...?
