The allowance for this is unacceptable! And then they get a special privilege and then add garbage cans? Way to add more class to this area. Isnt he the Lark Street BIDs chair? And isnt one of the things they are supposed to do is keep the street clean? Beautiful?????

I hear you, Concerned. There are people who hold positions because of what they can give and those who hold positions because of what they can get. It's such a busy area and sad to look like this as people walk by all day. The area is used for trash and storage many more hours than the business is even open. Not to mention the lost parking 24/7. Every single space counts on Madison and Lark, so it adds insult to injury to drive around wasting gas and time while this is what is given priority.

This issue has been acknowledged by the Department of General Services.

Everyone who follows this area on SeeClickFix is already aware of your complaints about parking and issues with these businesses. You've been reporting these same things for years now and it hasn't "fixed" anything. What do you think continuing to repost your complaints anonymously is going to accomplish? Please consider an alternative approach. Contact your common council member. If they are unresponsive, consider other ways of getting your message out. Maybe organize with your neighbors seeing as you seem to believe you represent their interests? Yes, you'll have give up your anonymity, but your chances for success have to be better than what you've seen so far with constantly repeating the same action over and over.

Or maybe just leave the small business alone and let them continue with awesome food and atmosphere, just a thought.
