Maybe if the streets were done properly theflooding would not happen. We are away and I opened the drains the last melt.I also kept pumping the water out of my driveway as all the water off the street and theneighbors ran into mine as I always kept it clean and the rest was higher than mine so water goes to lowest point.
I have a huge problem. we kept our double driveway down to the cement all winter plus the last melt opened the drains on both sides of our street, then I went away for a few days and the city plowed and covered over a quarter of my driveway with snow and ice. cannot even back straight out of my garage anymore. what a joke. I would like to hear from someone about this. Address is 9053-103 ave and phone number in the afternoons is 780-539-4590. This had better be taken care of quickly as now the ice is almost back to my garage from the water build up.

Colder temperatures resulted in a temporary halt to this drainage issue. However, we are now into a another cycle of warming (Feb. 19) and as such crews are picking up snow piles and snow storage in and around the City to facilitate drainage. In addition, storm crews are clearing drains as is required as part of their regular work cycle. This area of concern is logged in our customer service request system.
