Thank you for your comment. The new traffic signal system equipment should not have the same detection problems the old system had. During snow storms, until the road is plowed vehicles may not stop in the correct spot to trip the detector. That issue normally clears when the roadway is plowed. This occurs at many intersections in snowy sections of the country.
