So is it the policy of City of Oakland Public Works Department to refer these complaints to CODE ENFORCEMENT, and make a couple of posts and then do NOTHING? These camps have now grown to four different camps with an overwhelming amount (well over 50) of transients who are trashing our neighborhood, selling drugs, ingesting drugs, engagin prostitution, breaking into cars, and dumping trash everywhere!!!! Where does it all end?? This is absolutely absurd.

Incredible!! Hats off and big round of applause for BART police and clean up crews who have come in and cleaned up these properties. This was so out of hand - crime in our area increased dramatically during the time this encampment grew to encompass two full city blocks! Thanks again to BART Police and clean up crews for taking this on and doing a great job!
