Can the city please clearly post the difference on their website between a city-wide parking ban and a New Haven parking authority ban? According to the attendants at Temple street garage, the city-wide parking ban ended at noon, while the parking authority ban (which apparently governs when the reduced parking snow rate) ended at 7am? This made no sense to me, and it also made no sense to the parking attendant--who nevertheless was not able to give me the 3$ rate for parking in the garage from 7am to Noon on February 03. We are trying to make the city's job easier by moving our cars to city lots for ease of plowing, but then get punished by this lack of coordination.
